The visit to the Portlands Energy Centre was one of the most interesting site visits we did in the STAR-4 Women program. I really enjoyed seeing the big industrial building, machinery and ductwork.
The Portlands Energy Centre is a combined cycle natural gas power plant hidden in nature. Many people in Toronto don’t even know it exists!
It was a very cool (or rather, hot) experience!
